Cuesta College Book of the Year 2022

Join us for a lecture, Q&A, and book signing by There There author Tommy Orange

Tommy Orange is a graduate from the MFA program at the Institute of American Indian Arts, a MacDowell Fellow, and a Writing by Writers Fellow. He is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma. He was born and raised in Oakland, California. Tommy Orange’s wondrous and shattering novel There There follows twelve characters from Native communities: all traveling to the Big Oakland Powwow, all connected to one another in ways they may not yet realize.

This event has already taken place in person on Thursday, April 21st at 5pm PST. This ticket is for virtual viewing only.
