Standing for Freedom: A Veterans Day Concert

Winds
CPAC Mainstage
Thursday, Nov 11, 2021 at 3:00 PM (PT)

The Cuesta Concord Chorus and the Cuesta Wind Ensemble celebrate everyone who upholds justice here and overseas. We thank our veterans who stand on the front line and our community that stands together for liberty and justice for all. This concert features John Williams’s “Hymn to the Fallen” from Saving Private Ryan, John Phillip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever,” as well as other uplifting songs. Conducted by Jennifer Martin and Cassandra Tarantino, and special guest conductor and composer Dr. Ron Kean.

This is a hybrid event, meaning: a limited amount of tickets will be available to attend in-person, and virtual tickets will be available to a livestream of the concert. THIS LISTING IS FOR IN-PERSON TICKETS ONLY. There are no refunds or exchanges. For virtual tickets, please visit: this page.

IN-PERSON SAFETY INFORMATION: Proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hrs of the event is required to attend. Masks are required for all indoor areas, regardless of vaccination status. Please visit the CPAC Safety page on our website for updates and detailed information prior to this concert. Purchasing a ticket to an indoor event confirms that you have read and agree to Cuesta College's safety measures. Please stay home if you are symptomatic, and let us know if you are unable to attend after purchasing a ticket.

In light of new guidelines from the County of San Luis Obispo Health Agency and Public Health Department, we have modified our practices on and off stage to still be able to offer tickets to in-person events, meaning: performers may be masked, musicians may perform with bell covers on instruments, and everyone will be spaced appropriately. This also means that performers will maintain at least twelve feet from the audience, so the first several rows will be roped off and unavailable for seating. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
